Therapeutic singing & music therapy
Tremble Clefs Arizona
Tremble Clefs Arizona is a therapeutic singing program for people living with Parkinson's disease, their care partners and their families. Led by board-certified music therapist Sun Joo Lee, PhD, MT-BC, the group uses breathing, vocal exercises and singing to work on the voice, speech and breath support that Parkinson's so often takes away — and to keep people connected to one another. Choirs meet in person across the Valley, and free online sessions are offered every week, including a program built specifically for caregivers.

Parkinson's Foundation
A national foundation that funds research, publishes free educational materials and books, and runs a Helpline (1-800-4PD-INFO) staffed by nurses, social workers and specialists. It designates Centers of Excellence at hospitals that meet its care standards, and its Community Grants fund local programs — including the free online Tremble Clefs sessions listed on this site.
The largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research in the world, dedicated to finding a cure and improving treatments for people living with the disease today. It runs the Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative, a landmark long-term study, and helps people find and join clinical trials through Fox Trial Finder.
Founded by Olympic cyclist Davis Phinney, this foundation focuses on helping people live well with Parkinson's right now. It publishes the Every Victory Counts manual free of charge, hosts Victory Summit events and webinars, and supports a network of ambassadors living with the disease who share what has worked for them.
APDA supports people with Parkinson's through a nationwide network of chapters and Information & Referral Centers, connecting people to support groups, exercise classes and educational programming close to home. Its Arizona chapter serves communities across the state and helps fund local research.
Part of Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix and a designated Parkinson's Foundation Center of Excellence. Its movement disorder neurologists and neurosurgeons provide specialized care including deep brain stimulation, and the center offers free community wellness programming — exercise, dance, music and support groups — to people with Parkinson's and their care partners.
Dedicated to helping people with Parkinson's regain and retain their speech and swallowing through the SPEAK OUT! therapy program. The organization trains speech-language pathologists worldwide and supports free ongoing LOUD Crowd maintenance groups so people can keep practicing after formal therapy ends.
The World Parkinson Coalition brings the global Parkinson's community together through the World Parkinson Congress, a gathering held every three years where people with Parkinson's, care partners, clinicians, researchers and advocates all attend the same sessions. It also publishes free educational resources drawn from those meetings.
We're always looking for groups that make life better for people living with Parkinson's. If you know of one —
or run one yourself — send us a note and tell us about it.
